Shanice and Chef Patricia are the mother-daughter duo behind Ting A Ling, a Brooklyn-based brand known for their Every Ting Jerk Sauce and Marinade. Their story began in Spanish Town, Jamaica, where family meals were filled with love and bold Caribbean flavors. After moving to the States, they missed the authentic taste of home—and set out to share it. What started as a passion for recreating family recipes grew into a mission to celebrate their heritage and bring people together through food. Brooklyn, with its vibrant Caribbean community, feels like a second home and has been central to their journey. For Shanice and Patricia, Ting A Ling is about more than food—it’s about family, culture, and sharing "a taste of home."

Like true foodies, our story began in a cozy family kitchen in the heart of
Spanish Town, Jamaica. It was there, amidst the warmth of family and the aroma
of simmering spices, that our passion for bold Caribbean flavors ignited.
But as fate would have it, our journey led us to the States, where the challenge
of recreating our cherished family recipes became a daunting task amid
uninspiring grocery aisles lacking the range and diversity of ingredients we
had grown accustomed to. Our bright, bold, rhythmic, and vibey culture was
missing in action.
Wanting to share our rich culinary heritage and bring real Caribbean flavors
to kitchens everywhere, we started Ting A Ling. With our deep Caribbean roots
and Mom's expertise as a chef, we uniquely understand what makes our food
taste "wicked."
We believe the taste of the Caribbean should always remain true to its roots
authentic in every bite and of the highest quality. After all, there's truly
nowhere better than "yaad" (home).
