About the Opportunity

Brooklyn Made, Fashion Week Brooklyn, and the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce are seeking emerging Brooklyn-based fashion designers to participate in A Very Brooklyn Fashion Show 2026.

Selected designers will have the opportunity to present their original work during a professionally produced runway show at Industry City on October 8, 2026.

While this opportunity does not include a stipend or grant, selected designers will receive exposure to a wide audience that may include members of Brooklyn’s business, fashion, creative, media, and local community networks.

The event is designed to spotlight Brooklyn’s creative talent and provide participating designers with a platform to share their work, build visibility, and make meaningful industry connections.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be based in Brooklyn.
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Be available for orientation and planning meetings leading up to the fashion show.
• Submit original work created by the applicant.
• Have their complete runway looks finalized by September 10, 2026.
• Be available to participate in the fashion show on October 8, 2026.

Submitting an application does not guarantee selection. Selected designers will receive additional participation requirements and production information upon acceptance.
