Walid and Gloribelle, former restauranteurs, bonded over their Dominican and Tunisian culinary roots. After marrying and having twins, they launched Harissa Hot Honey to bring restaurant-quality, globally inspired flavors to home kitchens. Their business took off at Brooklyn’s own Sahadi’s, with early branding support from the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce. Now, as they expand their product line and update their label to reflect their North African, Caribbean, and NYC influences, they continue to share their love of bold flavors at Brooklyn popups and events.
