New York Brownstone Puzzle

Thao Chi Vu is a designer whose creative journey crosses continents and cultures. Born in the Czech Republic to Vietnamese immigrant parents, Chi’s art is shaped by a lifelong dialogue between heritage, travel, and the search for home and community. After years spent exploring the world, she found a true sense of home and creative community in Brooklyn.

By day, Chi specializes in digital product design and accessibility. Her artistic expression is anchored in digital illustration, physical fabrication, and tactile arts. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Minerva University and a master’s in Integrated Design and Media from NYU Tandon, where she created this puzzle as both a celebration of Brooklyn and a way to support her graduate studies.

Through her art, she hopes to share the warmth, diversity, and creativity that define her adopted home, inspiring connection and curiosity.
