Grew up in New Jersey, and now live in South Slope, Brooklyn.
Why did you start your business?
I launched Virgins On Fire Candle Co. in June 2020 seeking creative and financial independence.
How does your work connect to Brooklyn?
We're about queerness, and freedom of thought. Eccentric people, unique places, and funny ideas. We’re about liberation from the bullsh*t. We're against hateful laws, and for burning bras. Of running from the pure virgin life that others expect and igniting our own ways forward. If that ain't Brooklyn, I don't know what is.

Dark Void Filled Only By Plants is a grounded blend of amber & rose. It's slightly on the floral side, but without being smacked in the face with grandma's perfume.
The 9oz candle carries a long 45-50 hour burn time.
