Where are you from/where did you grow up?

Patricia grew up on the West Coast - Reno, NV then Seattle, WA. She ended up in Brooklyn after many years in Manhattan because she was drawn to its cozier more neighborhoody vibe and of course, eclectic culture. Jon was born on Staten Island, grew up in Bridgewater, NJ, and finally landed in Brooklyn 8 years ago seeking a sense of community, access to green spaces, and bicycle culture.

Why did you start your business?

We fell in love with the idea of pouring candles in unique found/upcycled vessels so that they look gorgeous when you burn them and you end up with a beautiful vessel when you're done.

How does your work connect to Brooklyn?

Our candles reflect the eclectic Brooklyn culture and vibes running the range from everything to hipster, throwback/retro, sweet grandmother tea set vibes, artsy, and reflective of many ethnicities.
